The Tuesday tree: green on green

September 24, 2013

Looking up in a mixed woodland, a temperate rainforest in Perthshire. Mostly beech, some sycamore and oak, growing above a river; branches leaning out over the gorge to catch the September sunshine and the soft rain.

    Quite magical. I was in Rocky Mountains over the weekend and the aspen trees were beginning to turn. They are like shimmering gold.
    Leaves can be such living art work
