temporary deforestation

August 23, 2011

To all the thousands of fans who are breathlessly awaiting this week’s Tuesday tree, I can only apologise. (Chuh – and I also say sorry to my small handful of faithful readers.) It’s written, but owing to teeth-grindingly annoying technical hitches beyond my control, I can’t upload any photos today. Has anyone else been having this problem on WordPress today, or is it just our rural broadband gremlins at play again?

Anyway, the trees are still here, looking beautiful, and awaiting your pleasure. Fingers crossed.

Pesky WordPress. I am usually several Tuesdays behind, so will catch up when it co-operates. Thank you so much for your tree-tales, they are a constant pleasure.

“Temporary deforestation.” What a marvelous title! No worries, DB … your faithful readers will await patiently. (As will the trees, I presume. 🙂

We are always happy to hear from you, with or without photos…
I’m sure that fall is on it’s way, apples are ripening, and the walled garden will be gradually going into hibernation for the winter. Your boys will be back into their school routines, and the sun will disappear too early in the evening. We will be here whenever you can be…

Thanks so much, Margaret. You’re right, there’s definitely a feeling that autumn is on its way, even if it’s not here yet. Crisper days – I am looking forward to them!
